Patient and Knowledgeable Native English tutor

As an ESL high school teacher and tutor for several years, I have tutored over 40 students in colloquial and business English. I have worked significantly with ESL students in the USA, South Korea, Japan, Thailand.

Using worksheets, games, activities, and exams, my courses expand on what the student knows and fosters confidence in speaking. No prior English experience is needed, as I've taught all ages and skill levels.

I create a variety of small tasks, aligned with a final goal, in order to create a clear direction for each session. I believe that no student is the same, and as a tutor, it is my job to uniquely personalize my lesson to each student.

I charge $40 per hour. I can travel a reasonable distance within Bay Area, but may charge extra to travel to your home if far from my place.

I am very open to working a schedule out with my students, and am flexible in my hours. However, I do request a 24-hour notice of cancellation. I do offer make-up sessions, so we can work out a day to reschedule a lesson.
