Hello,
My name is Jon, and I am currently a high school senior. I was accepted to all four of my colleges. I was accepted to Stanford early in December. I received an academic likely letter (top 50-100 applicants along with athletic recruits out of total applicants that was a bit under 30,000 this year) in January and was accepted to Yale. I was also accepted to Harvard and Princeton. They noted they I was one of the "particularly outstanding" accepted students. Also, Harvard's Dean of Admissions was generous enough to write me a handwritten note to "join" them. With record high competition (~7-8% for these four colleges) for all colleges and especially elite colleges this year, I'd like to believe that my success in admissions indicates that I knew several things that others might not have.
한글요약: 하버드 예일 프린스턴 스탠포드에 합격중에서도 top applicant로 합격했습니다.
My credentials include:
Salutatorian (ranked 2nd out of 429 in my class) of the #1 public school in Connecticut
Yale University Book Award
Connecticut Governor's Award Semi-finalist
Participant in the American Invitational Mathematics Examination
English Department Special Recognition Award
SAT: Critical Reading 800 Math 800 Writing 700
SAT II: Korean 800 Math IIC 800 Chemistry 750 Physics 800
ACT: 34
AP: All fives in Chemistry, Calc AB, Calc BC, Statistics, English Language, Physics C Mechanics, Physics C E&M
I am planning to tutor in the Seattle area for the summer.
My areas of expertise include standardized testing, mathematics, writing, physics and especially college consulting.
I am able to tutor many other disciplines with prior notice.
I am also fluent in Korean.
Let me know in advance about the summer or any questions at choi.jonathanh@gmail.com
Thank you for your interest.
