This is Dr. Chiang with two MS degrees and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford Univesity.  I have been passionate in tutoring students since I was in college and enjoying to work with students to see them making good progress. I TA'ed in Stanford for a couple of courses with highest review mark and I taught a good number of high school students, including my son, in the past few years with great success.  It's a great satisfaction for me when my students undestand a difficult concept, achieve good grades and build up self-confidence.  I have seen many students stuggling with math and science subjects and I feel bad about it. There is really no rocket science in high school level and you don't need to be a genius to understand these subjects and do well.  I believe every student can learn the high school level math and physics well if there is a good teacher to help them, and that's why I am here. You will learn to absorb concepts thoroughly and developed an intuition for the critical-thinking processes necessary for success.  I’m looking forward to meeting you in my class and I am sure you will have a different feeling about math and science.  My goal is not only to help you score 800 in SAT II and 5 in AP tests, but you will be proud of youself that you are good at math :).
