"SAS Education Consulting" is accepting 30 students in the bay area to participate in a unique 2016 summer camp program after the intense college entrance-like interviews and careful selection process.
Students will join other students from outside the US (international school students who are preparing for the new SAT in USA and like to experience the career world) for "SAT and more camp" not limited to IT company and college visits and leadership enhancement.
Students will experience cultural exchange and valuable life learning experiences with others focusing on college planning based on their future career. This summer camp program is UNIQUE in a sense there are no other camps like this and the mission of the camp is "UNIQUENESS" which means college prep plus career plan session with professionals from many diverse fields such as IT industry CEOs, college professors, physicians, finance advisors, engineers, artists, musicians, attorneys, politicians, etc. Students will also have a session to speak with current university students from community colleges to Ivy League Universities. Similar curriculum will be used for elementary to junior high school aged students with reading, writing, public speaking, book club, and field trips to the places except SAT.
The Instructors have education related major bachelor/master degrees with many years of SAT/AP English & Math teaching experiences or are ivy league graduates who have been helping students with college counseling/interviewing as alumni and consultants.
The SAS director and teachers have run camps for more than 15 years and have proven track records of sending students from high schools and community colleges to good 4 year Universities and Ivy League Schools. They are experts in college counseling, college prep assistance, education column writing, education seminars, school/company teaching, and catering curriculum according to students' needs for their education and company sectors.
Students' ultimate goal should not be all about high GPA, SAT/ACT score, extracurricular activity, leadership, awards, and volunteering to get into their dream schools. Students must learn to connect all the dots together and be able to dream higher and strive to be the bes by drawing bigger pictures with their own colors.
Students should ultimately be self-motivated, global minded, mature enough to plan their own future and career, improving academic outcome and test scores, and most of all, be happy, proud, and confident after completing the "UNIQUE" 2016 Summer Camp.
SAS is not looking for students who only care about getting into Ivy League Schools and are selfish. SAS is seeking students who have great potential, unique characteristics and are global mind. Therefore, everyone is encouraged to apply but we will select only 30 students in order to run the best, top quality UNIQUE summer program that your kids will never forget and be his/her turning point in their life with caring experts.

내신, SAT/ACT, 특별활동, 봉사활동, 리더쉽등에 대해 교육기관과 기업내에서 대입관련 카운슬링, 강연을 해오며 아무리 그 모든것이 좋아도 모든것을 연결을 잘 못하거나, 장래 목표가 없다거나, 동기부여가 부족하다거나, 글로벌한 생각이나 길게 보는 안목이 없다거나, 보통사람과 다른 각도에서 보지못하거나, 미래를 계획할 도움이 될만한 자료나 경험이나 네트워크(멘토)의 부족으로 원하는 대학을 갈수있는데도 못가고 반대로 성적은 최고가 아니지만 위의 모든것을 잘해 최고의 학교나 본인이 진정 하고싶은 계통의 공부와 직장생활을 하는것을 보아오며 개성있는 몇년후의 전공분야나 커리어에까지도 실제적으로 도움이 될만한 캠프를 계획하게 되었습니다. 캠프에는 상담과 대입원서준비도 필요한 학생에 한해 제공됩니다. 또한, 초등, 중등학생 캠프도 SAT 대신, reading, writing, public speaking과 각분야 선배나 전문인들의 강의와 체험견학으로 이루어집니다.
제대로 된 유익하고 유닠한 캠프를 위해 베이지역에서는 30명만 인터뷰와 추천을 통해 외부 국제학교에서 SAT준비와 미국내의 대학, 커리어에 대해 정보를 얻으며 실리콘밸리의 문화체험을 원하는 학생들과 함께 진행됩니다.
맹목적으로 남들보다 잘하려고만 하고 대학이 고울인 학생이나 학부모들보단 과정을 중요시 생각하고 많은 체험을 통해 만족스러운 대학생활과 커리어, 사회에 기여할수있는데 관심있는 학생이나 학부모들을 위한 캠프가 될것입니다.
