2016 Silicon Valley Youth Music Competition
▪ 2016 실리콘밸리 청소년 음악경연대회 개최 안내

전문적인 클래식 공연에서부터 다양한 음악문화활동을 주도하고 자라나는 청소년들의 예술활동을 교육, 지원하고자 창단되어 활동중인 북가주의 대표적인 한인 클래식 연주단체인 SILICON VALLEY PHILHARMONIC 에서는 오는 2016년 4월 2일과 9일 이틀간 “2016 실리콘밸리 청소년 음악경연대회”를 개최합니다.

베이지역 청소년 연주자들에게 수준높은 연주기회를 제공하고 이를통해 새로운 예술인재를 발굴하여 연주지원을 함으로써 미래를 빛낼 차세대 유망 연주자로 육성함을 목적으로 하고있는 이번 경연대회는 각 전공악기(Strings, Woodwinds, Piano)와 학년별 Elementary(1-5th), Middle(6-8th), High(9-12th) 그룹으로 나뉘어 치러지게되며, 본선에서 선발되는 연주우수자들에게 우승상, 우수상, 장려상 등의 상장과 부상이 수여되고, 각 부문별 1등상 수상자들을 위한 우승자 연주회 “2016 SVYMC Winners Concert”를 통해 선발되는 각 그룹 대상연주자들에게는 소정의 장학금을 수여하게 됩니다.

SILICON VALLEY PHILHARMONIC Orchestra is proudly announcing to open “2016 Silicon Valley Youth Music Competition” in the Bay Area to inspire and support our local young musicians for their experience and courage.

There are 3 competition groups, Elementary(1-5th), Middle(6-8th), and High(9-12th) by school grade and  instrumental classes including Piano, Woodwinds, and Strings for competing musical talents. After the competition, Grand, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honors Place performers by instrumental classes in each group are chosen for Certificate, Prize and Scholarship. Also Top Performers with Grand and 1st places are invited to perform at the “2016 SVYMC Award Ceremony and Winners Concert”.

COMPETITION DATES:
Competition 1: Saturday, April 2, 2016, 10 am-7 pm | Strings
Competition 2: Saturday, April 9, 2016, 12 pm-7 pm | Woodwinds, Piano
