“2011년 세부보고를 연기하면서 나중에 벌금을 안내거나 적게 내기위해 돈을 좀 내려고 합니다. “1). 수표 책에 뭐라고 적어서 내야 하나요? “---->Your check should be made payable to United States Treasury (or U.S. Treasury). You should include the social security number and related tax form number and be mailed to the address listed on the notice or instructions. Cash payments can only be made in person at a local IRS Office. You should not send cash through the mail.To reduce your penalties and interest, file your income tax return by the due date BY APR 17 , 2012. You'll still incur interest, but you'll avoid the 5% per month penalty for failure to file on time. Penalties and interest add significantly to your taxes if you do not pay timely.
“2). 언제까지 내면 되나요?”----->By Apr 18 , 2012. You do not attach a copy of Form 4868 to your return. An extension will give you extra time to get your paperwork to the IRS, but it does not extend the time you have to pay any tax due. You will owe interest on any amount not paid by the April 18 , 2012deadline, plus you may owe penalties. The IRS cautioned that there is a failure-to-file penalty for taxpayers who don’t file their tax returns by April 15(Apr 17,2012) and who owe taxes. Filing by the deadline allows you to avoid this penalty, even if you can’t pay all or some of your taxes by the deadline. You who can’t pay the full amount would still benefit from filing your return and paying as much as you can by April 17.2012 Interest and failure-to-pay penalties are due on any unpaid balance and increase the amount that the taxpayer owes. Taxpayers who find they can’t make a full payment by the April 15 ( ApR 17 2012)deadline may consider applying for an installment agreement. An installment agreement allows taxpayers to pay any remaining balance in monthly installments. Taxpayers who owe $25,000 or less may apply for a payment plan electronically, using the Online Payment Agreement application. Or they may attach Form 9465, Installment Agreement Request, to the front of their tax return. Taxpayers must show the amount of their proposed monthly payment and the date they wish to make their payment each month. The IRS charges $105 for setting up the agreement or $52 if the payments are deducted directly from the taxpayer’s bank account ($43 for qualified lower-income taxpayers).
