I have a question about 양도세.
Sorry I couldn't write in Korean here, so can only cut&paste "양도세" from other postings.
Anyway,
I'm a single, and want to buy a house with 1 or 2 friends. (not husband and wife, we are all singles)
1) If 3 of us, buy and live in the property for 2 years, then can we deduct $500,000 from "양도세" ?
2) If 2 of us, still can we deduct $500,000 from "양도세"?

this question need to answer by either CPA or Lawyer, any realtor can not give any advice when it comes to question like this. Because we are not qualified to give one.
야! 이바보야. 첫째로, 지금 부동산경기가 이렇게 않좋은데, 2년후에 500,000불남긴다는,꿈부터깨고, 둘째로, 결혼한부부만 500,000불해당된다. 별병신이 들어와서 바보같은문하네.
Technically, homeowners can keep up to $250,000 ($500,00 per married couple filing jontly) tax-free when selling their principal residence. In your case, it depends how you hold a title and file a tax return.
